The Tropicana Joint Venture seeks to report on sustainability performance in a holistic way, taking into account a broad range of stakeholder requirements and current best practice.

Sustainability covers all operations, from exploration and construction through to operations and closure and is essential to the long-term viability of the TJV.

The TJV recognises the importance of open and transparent stakeholder and community consultation and considers local indigenous groups to be its key stakeholders.

Community stakeholders include the Wildflower Society of WA, Wilderness Society, Malleefowl Preservation Group, Conservation Council of WA, Friends of the Great Victoria Desert and Kalgoorlie Naturalists Group.
